LEFT MAIN GEAR RED UNSAFE LIGHT ON AFTER RETRACTION. FOLLOWED COM PROCEDURE & RETURNED TO LAX.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LANDING GEAR ACCESSORY UNIT. OPS CHECKED GOOD IAW AMM 32-09-121.
