FLT MAINTENANCE - ONT - WHILE PERFORMING 3A CHECK INSPECTION ON EXIT SIGN ON ROW NR 1 IT DID NOT ILLUMINATE.  MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED EMERGENCY AND LIGHT SIGN.  OPERATIONALLY CHECKED SATISFACTORY AND ACFT WAS RELEASED TO RETURN FOR SERVICE.  (S)
