FLT MX - ONT - WHILE PERFORMING 3A CHECK INSPECTION ON EXIT SIGN ON ROW NR12 IT DID NOT ILLUMINATE.  MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT SIGN.  OPERATIONALLY CHECKED SATISFACTORY AND ACFT WAS RELEASED TO RETURN FOR SERVICE.  (S)
