## Discrepancy

(CAN) DURING WALK-AROUND PRIOR TO FLIGHT, PIC NOTICED DOWNLOCK SPRING HANGING FROM ONE ATTACH POINT AND UPON INSPECTION WAS FOUND BROKEN AT ATTACH POINT ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH ABOVE SPRING BODY.  SPRING WAS REPLACED NEW.
