THIS TYPE OF REGULATOR HAS A SAFETY WHERE BY IT SHOULD REGULATE TO 20 PSI UPON FAILURE OF THE NORMAL 18 PSI REGULATION. THE PART WAS REPLACED WITH AN OVERHAULED UNIT, TESTED AND FOUND TO OPERATE PROPERLY.
