## Discrepancy

(CAN) A SPRING THAT KEEPS THE FLAP IN THE UP AND LOCKED POSITION WAS FOUND BROKEN DURING REGULAR MX.  THE FAILURE OF THIS SPRING HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE THE ACFT TO LOSE CONTROL DURING FLIGHT, PARTICULARLY WHILE INVERTED.
