## Discrepancy

(CAN) DURING APPROACH THE PROPELLER SPEED DROPPED BELOW LIMITS.  ENGINE WAS SHUTDOWN AND ACFT LANDED SAFELY.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE PROPELLER VALVE HOUSING AND THE ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.  THE O/H FACILITY REPORTED SUBSTANDARD BEARINGS SUSPECTED.
