## Discrepancy

(CAN) SMELT SMOKE IN COCKPIT.  CO-PILOTS HSI NAVIAGATION FAILED.  ACFT RETURNED TO BASE. TROUBLESHOT AND FOUND CO-PILOTS GYRSON COMPASS NOT WORKING AND FOUND PHASE ADAPTER FRIED.  REPLACED PARTS, SYS GROUND CHECKED SERVICABLE.
