## Discrepancy

(CAN) DURING MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOOTING OF APU GENERATOR DEFECT THE STARTER/GENERATOR DEVELOPED AN INTERNAL SHORT OVERHEATED AND CAUGHT FIRE.  THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED WITH NO COLLATERAL DAMAGE TO THE APU OR SURROUNDING STRUCTURE.
