## Discrepancy

(CAN) ON DEPARTURE JUST AFTER V1 THE ACFT PULLED ABRUPTLY TO THE LT, CORRECTED WITH RT RUDDER AS WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO ROTATE. FLEW THE DEPARTURE IAW SOP. RULED OUT A WIND GUST BECAUSE THE WIND WAS LIGHT AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE. CHECKED FOR FAULT CODES. THE ONLY SCU FAULT WAS EHVS. THE ONLY FCS FAULT WAS IFC FAILURE. BOTH FAULT CODES CLEARED. OPC OF ALL THE FLIGHT CONTROLS C/O, NFF. GVI WALK AROUND C/O, NFF. FDR DATA RETRIEVED VIA THE QAR/FDM. FDR DATA ANALYZED, DATA SHOWED THAT THE RUDDER DID A 5 DEGREE MOVEMENT TO THE LT CAUSING THE VEER. AGREED AT THE TIME THAT THE YAW DAMPER LIKELY CAUSED THIS UNCOMMANDED RUDDER MOVEMENT. YAW DAMPER DEFERRED. ACFT WAS GROUNDED UNTIL THE YAW DAMPER COULD BE REPLACED.
