## Discrepancy

(CAN) PRIOR TO TAKEOFF, THE PILOT OBSERVED A LOW PROPELLER SPEED FOLLOWED BY A LOSS OF POWER.  FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS REPORTED WHICH HAD EXTINGUISHED BEFORE THE FIRE DEPT ARRIVED.
