(CAN) LEFT ENGINE CONTROL AMBER MESSAGE ILLUMINATED IN THE DECENT. THROTTLE RETARDED TO IDLE BUT ENGINE REMAINED AT 55% UNTIL PASSING THROUGH 4,000FT. WARNING REMAINED UNTIL POWER CYCLED ON THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT IS AWAITING DOWNLOAD ANALYSIS.
