(CAN) DURING ROUTINE SURVEILLANCE MISSION, CREW REPORTED LOUD NOISE FOLLOWED BY A ROLL BACK IN TORQUE TO ZERO & CORRESPONDING YAW.  THE HIGH PRESS NH & LOW PRESS NL  COMPRESSOR ROTOR SPEED MAINTAINED ROTATION.  THE CREW FEATHERED PROPELLER & COMPLETED SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE.  THE ACFT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.
