## Discrepancy

(CAN) DURING TAKEOFF, THE PILOT REPORTED LOSING POWER FORCING A LANDING IN A CORN FIELD.  ENGINE KEPT RUNNING FOR SOME 40 SECONDS AFTER THE FORCED LANDING.  NTSB IS IN CHARGE OF THE INVESTIGATION AND ASSISTANCE WAS REQUIRED.
