(CAN) AT CRUISING ALTITUDE FL20 THE LT WINDSHIELD DEVELOPED SUDDEN SUBSTANTIAL CRACKING.  PILOT SLOWED THE ACFT REDUCED PRESSURIZATION AND DESCENDED TO 10000 FT AND RETURNED.  LANDING UNEVENTFUL.
