## Discrepancy

(CAN) ENGINE CHIP LIGHT ILLUMINATED DURING FLIGHT.  UPON ENGINE DISASSEMBLY DISCOVERED THE SNAP RING THAT HOLDS THE SPUR ADAPTER GEARSHAFT TO THE BACK OF THE COMPRESSOR TO BE MANGLED.  SNAP RING GROOVE HAD SINCE WORN FLAT.
