THE CREW CARRIED OUT THE APPROPRIATE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND LANDED SAFELY. UPON INSPECTION IT WAS FOUND THAT THE FLAP SYSTEM DYNAMIC BRAKE RELAY HAD FAILED CAUSING THE FLAP MOTOR TO OVERHEAT.
