## Discrepancy

(CAN) VACUUM PUMP FAILED IN-FLIGHT.  SPLINE BROKEN AND DISINTEGRATED. PUMP WAS SEIZED.  SUBMITTER SUGGESTED THAT INSPECTION BE CARRIED OUT EVERY 500 HOURS TO DETERMINE PUMP SMOOTH OPERATION.
