(CAN) NR 2 ENG FIRE WARN ILLUMINATED ON APPROACH.  IN-FLIGHT SHUTDOWN C/W.  INVESTIGATION REVEALED A FIRE DETECTION UNIT HAD FAILED IN THE FIRE POSITION.  UNIT REPLACED.
