## Discrepancy

(CAN) CREW REPORTED SMOKE COMING FROM BEHIND THE LEFT HAND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUST ABOVE THE TRANSPONDER, ACCOMPANIED BY ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL.  NR 1 TRANSPONDER TURNED OFF AND SMOKE DISSIPATED.  CIRCUIT BOARD OF NR 1 TRANSPONDER BADLY BURNED.
