FORWARD OVERBOARD VLV EICAS STATUS MSG DISPLAYED.  FWD OVERBOARD VLV NOT IN COMMANDED POSITION OR INTERFACE FAIL.  ACCOMPLISHED TEST ALL INDICATIONS OF VLV MOVEMENT GOOD.  ALSO WATCHED VLV MOVEMENT, ALL GOOD.  EICAS MSG ERASED.
