LAVATORY 3L BURNING SMELL.  ACCOMPLISHED INSPECTIONS IAW MM 05-51-50.  FOUND MIRROR LIGHT FWD LAMP RECEPTACLE BURNT & CAUSING ODOR.  REMOVED LAMP, DISCONNECTED & SAFETIED BALLAST M004 CONNECTOR IAW STANDARD PRACTICES.  COMPLIED WITH MEL.
