DURING TAXI, CREW REPORTED 10B HANDSET CORD HOT.  THIS HANDSET WAS REPORTED INOPERATIVE AS INBOUND ITEM AND DEFERRED IAW MEL.  10B HANDSET CORD HOT, ISOLATED BY DISCONNECTED CORD AT HANDSET CRADLE. NO REPORT AS ODOR. JUST HOT.
