STANDBY ALTIMETER SHOWS  +500 FEET WHEN LEVEL AT 34000. FOUND THE STANDBY ALT VIBRATOR INOPERATIVE, REMOVED AND REPLACED THE STANDBY ALTIMETER IAW AMM 34-13-06-334-031. OK TO CONTINUE.
