STANDBY ALTIMETER READS PLUS 600 FEET AT ALTITUDE.  REMOVED AND REPLACED THE STANDBY ALTIMETER IAW AMM 34-13-06-344-031. OPS CHECKED SATISFACTORY. NO DEFECTS NOTED. OK TO CONTINUE.
