ENG 2 LAGS BY 10 SECS WHEN SPOOLING TO 40 PCT N1. ABOVE 40PCT IT  ACCELERATES NORMALLY INFO FROM FLIGHT CREW.  ON DESCENT N1 WOULD NOT GO ABOVE 29%, T/O AND CRUISE WAS NORMAL.  ENGINE WAS NOT SHUT DOWN BUT FLOWN AT REDUCED THRUST , MAY HAVE HEARD A STALL BUT UNSURE. NO ENGINE FLUCTUATIONS CHECKED EXCEEDANCE PAGE PER AMM 71-00-00-740-801-F00.   NO EXCEEDANCE NOTED.   CREW REPORTS DURING TAXI ENGINE LAGGING 10 SECONDS BEHIND #2 UP TO 40%. ABOVE 40% OPS NORMAL. ON DECENT ENGINE WOULD NOT COME ABOVE 29%. BORO REQUIRED DUE TO POSSIBLE STALL. REF 71-00-00-210-801-F00 FOR INSPECTION. FLAGGED SDR. UPDATED SRD. DUE TO #2 ENGINE BEING REMOVED AND REPLACED, DISCREPANCY HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO AC 8803 REF LP:7521707
