FWD EQUPMENT EXHAUST FAN STATUS MESSAGE WITH FWD EXH EQU IP COOL FAN BREAKER ON P6 PANEL TRIPPED. PILOT REPORTED SMOKE IN FLIGHT DECK WHEN CB TRIPPED. FOUND TO BE BINDING & REPLACED IAW AMM 21-58-06/401.  ECS FAN CONTROL CARD M990 REPLACED IAW AMM 21-26-05/401. GOOD.  POST INSTALLATION CHECKED CARRIED OUT IAW AMM 21-58-06/401. NO LEAKS APPARENT. AIRCRAFT NOW RETURNED REQUIREMENTS OF MEL 2158D AS PER LOGPAGE 7517001. OK TO CONTINUE
