PILOT REPORTED L2 DOOR OPENED WHILE ESCAPE DOOR GIRT ENGAGED, DOOR POPPED IN ABOUT 1-2 INCHES, PERFORMED INSP ON L2 DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE, FOUND NO GIRT MATERIAL CAME OUT, LATCH ASSY DIDN'T BREAK. CLOSED DOOR AND RESTOWED GIRT BAR IN GIRT RETAINER. OPERATED DOOR CLOSE-OPEN, GIRT MATERIAL DOESN'T TOUCH THE FRAME. REINSPECTED SYS, OK TO SERVICE. REF AMM 25-66-01-200-802.
