R1 DOOR ARM DOES NOT FULLY RECESS TO ARM POSITION INITIATED R1 DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE REMOVAL UP TO STEP 4. B(3)(F) IAW AMM 25-62-44-000-802-A, & AMM 52-10-00-860-001-A  SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS BEFORE WORKING ON DOOR.  CLEANED ENDS OF GIRT BAR,  STILL WORKS CORRECTLY WHEN WARM BUT SUBJECTED TO COLD TEMPS HANDLE WILL NOT GO DOWN COMPLETLY. REMOVED RT ESCAPE SLIDE PACK ASSY FOM IAW 25-62-44.  ACCOMPLISHED LUBE OF FLEXIBLE CONTROL CABLE IAW AMM 52-00-00/001, CONFIG 00.026.  FOUND CONTROL CABLE WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF WATER INSIDE FLUSHED OUT WITH GREASE.  R & R NEW FLEXIBLE CONTROL ASSY IAW AMM 52-11-22-000-001-A, STEP B & C.  R1 DOOR SLIDE INSTALLED IAW AMM 25-62-44-400-802-A.  OPS CHECK GOOD.
