ACRID ODOR COMING FROM L PACK WHEN OPERATING.   PLACED LEFT PACK SYSTEM INOP COMPLIED WITH MEL REQUESTS TOMC APPROVAL INSPECTED NO ODOR ON RIGHT PACK . ISOLATED. LEFT PACK NEEDS TO REPLACED RECCESS FILTER INSPECTED BOTH PACK BAYS. NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED. REPLACED BOTH LT & RT RECIRC FILTERS AS PRECAUTION IAW AMM 21-25-02. NO OIL CONTAMINATION NOTED, YET BOTH FILTERS VERY DIRTY. RAN PACKS, VERIFIED BOTH COOL INDEPENDENTLY. NO ODOR NOTED. MEL REMOVED.
