## Discrepancy

AUTO SLAT FAIL INTERMITTENT IN FLIGHT, PERFORMED FIM 27-32, TASK 801.  NR 2 SMYD FAULT 27-32005.  REF FIM 27-32 TASK 812. NEED TO REPLACE NR 2 SMYD,  NO TROUBLE FOUND FOR AUTO SLAT FAIL LIGHT ON. REMOVED AND REPLACED SMYD IAW AMM 27-32-42.  FOUND IN NR 2 POS. REPLACED AS REQUESTED AND RETURNED BOTH SMYD TO ORIGINAL CONFIGURATION. PERFORMED SMYD INSTALLATION TESTS IAW AMM 27-32-42 AND DFCS TEST IAW AMM 22-11-00.  ADIRS, FMC AND SWEEP TEST CHECKED NORMAL. NO FAULTS NOTED. PERFORMED TESTS FOR BOTH SMYDS.
