LAV AND GALLEY FAN FAULT DISPLAYED ON UPPER ECAM SCREEN.  ECAM COND LAV & GALLEY FAN FAULT. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS REPORTED UNUSUAL GRINDING NOISE JUST MOMENTS BEFORE ECAM.  NOISE GONE. NO ODORS.  PLACED ON MEL2123A.  CIRCUIT BREAKERS U19 & U21 ON 122VU PULLED & COLLARED, INOP STICKER INSTALLED.  AFT CABIN ZONE TEMP SELECTOR. REMOVED LAV GALLEY FAN & INSTALLED NEW LAV GALLEY FAN IAW AMM 21-23-51 OPS CHECK GOOD.
