SLAT DRIVE FAIL EICAS MESSAGE CHRONIC ISSUE,   PERFORMED WIRE CHECK FROM CONNECTOR DE2702003P03B  PIN 26,27 & 28 TO DM2789061P01  4,5,3 ON SLAT SKEW SENSOR. WIRE CHECK GOOD. CHECKED WIRE FROM ACE PIN F16 AND F15 ALSO CHECKS GOOD. SLAT SKEW SENSOR & ACE NEED TO BE REPLACED SLAT SKEW SENSOR  6 OB & ACE MODULE 1 FCE ASSEMBLY LEFT REMOVED AND REPLACED ACE MODULE 1 FCE ASSEMBLY LEFT IAW AMM 27-02-17. GROUND TEST PASSED.
