CAPTAINS SHOULDER HEATER PRODUCES A FOUL SMELL WHEN TURNED ON. CAPT REPORTS L/H SHOULDER HEATER HAS A BURNT SMELL, WHICH FOLLOWS SWITCH ON AND GOES AWAY IN OFF POSITION. L/H HEATER,  COMPLIED WITH DDG 21-45-02, C/B PULLED, HEATER CONNECTOR REMOVED, CAPPED, AND STOWED. M&E 78-2145-9-9002.  REMOVED AND REPLACED SHOULDER HEATER CONTROL IAW AMM 21-45-13.
