## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORT STRONG ODOR & LIGHT SMOKE OCCURED IN FLT DECK WITH PACKS RUNNING, HYDS ON. NARROWED DOWN TO EVENT HAPPENED WHEN ONLY NR 2 PACK ON.  AFT CABIN, FLT ATTEND REPORTED SMOKE & STRONG ODOR COMING FROM CEILING DURING EVENT.  TURNED HYDS OFF & PACK 2 OFF, ODOR & SMOKE NO LONGER PRESENT.   PERFORMED FIM 21-00 TASK 830. RAN PACKS 1 & 2 FOR AN HR. RAN PACKS INDIVIDUALLY FOR 30 MINS.  TURNED OFF APU FOR 30 MINS THEN RAN BOTH PACKS FOR 2 HRS.  NO SMOKE, OR ABNORMAL ODORS NOTED IN CABIN.  RAN HYD PUMPS FOR 30 MINS.  PERFORMED GVI OF APU,  PACK BAYS, PACK HEAT EXCHANGERS, & HYD PUMPS. INSPECTED RECIRC FILTERS, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED ON FILTERS.  BOTH RECIRC FANS OPS NORMALLY &  DID NOT PRODUCE ANY ODORS OR SMOKE. OPS CHECKED ALL COFFEEMAKERS, NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED.
