SMOKE ODOR CONDITIONAL INSP REQUIRED IAW AMM 05-51-XX DUE TO AN INCIDENT REPORTED BY THE CREW. FLT ATTENDANTS REPORTED ODOR ON CLIMB & DESCENT. NEW ACFT ODOR. DEBRIEFED FLT ATTENDANTS REGARDING ODOR. THE ODOR OBSERVED BY THE FLT ATTENDANTS AS CHEMICAL IN NATURE. THE CABIN INTERIOR IS RELATIVELY NEW & THE ODOR OBSERVED IS THE ODOR OF NEW PARTS.
