SMOKE ODOR, WHEN WE TURNED ON AIR FROM APU.  OPERATED APU BLEED, RAN BOTH PACKS. NO ODOR OF SMOKE. CREW VERBALLY NOTIFIED MX OF NO ODOR OF SMOKE. IAW AMM 49-11-00, TASK 36-00-00-860-803, TASK 21-00-00-800-803.
