## Discrepancy

SMOKE AND FUMES MOMENTARILY APPEARED IN THE COCKPIT DURING A STANDBY POWER CHECK WHILE AIRCRAFT WAS AT GATE.  MAINTENANCE FOUND THE APU GENERATOR CONTROL UNIT AT FAULT.  THE APU GCU WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED, GROUND CHECK WAS GOOD.
