THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WOULD NOT MOVE TO UP POSITION AFTER TAKEOFF. THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST WAS COMPLETED WITH NO HELP. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO IAH WHERE IT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
