## Discrepancy

LEFT GENERATOR FAILED INFLIGHT AND WOULD NOT RESET.  PRIOR TO FAILURE, THERE WAS A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE VENTS IN THE COCKPIT, SMELL DISSIPATED AFTER GENERATOR WAS OFF-LINE.
