## Discrepancy

UPON CLOSING THE LEFT TOP ENGINE COWLING, WHEN THE CABLE WAS ACTUATED TO CLOSE THE COWLING THE END ENGAGING PIN BROKE.  THE COWLING WAS NOT SECURED PROPERLY.  THE COWLING CABLE BROKE AT THE THREADED END WHERE THE ENGAGEMENT PIN SCREWS ON.
