ON WALK AROUND, MAINTENANCE FOUND THE AFT STAIRS DOWN AND THE CATWALK BLOCKING THE REAR EXIT. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE AFT VENTRAL STAIR LOCK BINDING AND FREED IT.  AIRCRAFT NOW OKAY FOR SERVICE.
