DURING MAINTENANCE CHECK FOUND EMERGENCY FLOOR LIGHTS INOPERATIVE FROM ROW 1-25.  MAINTENANCE REPAIRED SHORTED WIRE BETWEEN SEAT 5C AND 6C.  OPERATION OF LIGHTS NOW CHECK OK.
