## Discrepancy

FLIGHT RETURNED TO DEPARTURE WITH A REPORTED ENGINE ISSUE.  PILOT REPORTED BANG ON TAKEOFF.  NR 1 ENGINE PARAMETERS DECLINED TO ZERO WITH EGT INCREASING.  ENGINE SHUTDOWN.  MAINTENANCE FOUND METAL IN TAIL PIPE AND TURBINE DAMAGE.  ENGINE CHANGE COMPLETED.
