## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORTED FLIGHT DECK CHIME IS EXTREMELY LOUD TO THE POINT OF BEING PAINFUL AND DISTRACTING, POTENTIAL SAFETY OF FLIGHT.  CORRECTIVE ACTION: PERFORMED RESET OF AUDIO MANAGEMENT UNIT.  SYSTEM OPERATION IS NORMAL.
