RETURNED ATL DUE TO BIRD STRIKE FOLLOWED BY ODOR IN THE COCKPIT.   PERFORMED BIRD STRIKE INSPECTION. INSPECTED LEFT PACK BAY AND RAM AIR INLET. NO DAMAGE FOUND. PERFORMED ENGINE AND APU RUN WITH BLEEDS ON. NO BURNING ODOR. OK FOR SERVICE.
