DURING PUSHBACK SAW ARCING COMING FROM WIRE GOING TO LEFT WINDOW.  FOUND WIRE CHAFFED, DEACTIVATED WHC NR 1 PER AMM 30-42-00- 0404-001-A. AND APPLIED MEL 30-42-01 MCO & PLAC INSTALLED M PROC C/W DISP APPROVED.  NR 1 WHC INOPERATIVE. FOUND VENDOR FURNISHED HARNESS BROKEN SHORTED TO SLIDE-WINDOW FRAME.   R & R HARNESS IAW AWM 30-42-03. ALL M PROC REV. OPS CHECKED L/H SLIDE WINDOW IAW AMM 30-42 ALL CHKS OK NO FAULTS NOTED NO MSG DISPLAY. PLAC AND MEL REMOVED. LT WINDOW DRESSING NEEDS TO BE RESECURED.(962861) RESECURED WINDOW FRAME LINING AND CEILING PANELS IAW AMM 25-13, AMM 30-40. (LP: 8457016)
