## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT 5086, AFTER LANDING FA AND SOME PASSENGERS IN FIRST CLASS REPORTED A BURNING PLASTIC SMELL IN THE FRONT OF THE CABIN THE ODOR DISSIPATED QUICKLY A MECHANIC IN THE BACK SAID HE COULD SMELL THE ODOR ON DESCENT.   FOUND OIL IN NR 1 ENGINE NOSE CONE DEPT 279 REPLACED NOSE CONE SEAL. PERFORMED LEVEL B ECS DECONTAMINATION REF AMM 36-10-00.  LP 8600514 - AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.
