ABORTED ENGINE START RIGHT ENGINE, STRONG FUEL SMELL IN CABIN. MAINT ADVISED START AGAIN ON BOTH IGNITORS, WITH NORMAL START INDICATIONS, AGIN STRONG FUEL SMELL IN CABIN, WITH PAX COMPLAINTS.   REMOVED AND REPLACED #1 IGNITION EXCITER BOX IAW AMM B757 74-11. R/R #1 IGNITON PLUG CABLE AND IGNITOR PLUG PER B757 AMM 74-21. MULTIPLE STARTS ON #1 IGN OG #2 ENG ALL GOOD STARTS. USED P-TRAK WITH BOTH ENG AND PACK COMBO'S, ALL LEVELS NML. (7914836) AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED
