## Discrepancy

INFLIGHT IFE MONITOR AT SEAT 29C STARTED SMOKING. DISCOVERED C/B FOR IFE SEAT POWER ON PANEL 2000VU POPPED. ELECTRICAL FUMES DISSIPATED AFTER IFE DISCONNECTED.   NOTED EVIDENCE OF LIQUID INTRUSION ON FRONT OF MONITOR. REMOVED SDU, FOUND SOOT AND BURN MARK ON BACK OF SDU ON CIRCUIT BOARD. REPLACED SDU AT 29C, IAW AMM 23-32-08. (LP 8578932, 1660202 - AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED)
